Andúril OS+/
2005 Grey Arabian Stallion
*bred by Oasis Stables, Inc.*
Sire: Eurocrat OS+ (*Prorok+ x *Escapade PASB)
*owned and bred by Oasis Stables, Inc.*
Dam: *Acapulco PASB+ (*Laheeb x Argentyna)
*owned by Oasis Stables, Inc.*
Andy is one of the most decorated young colts in HF. Beginning his career with consistent outings, this colt blossomed into the champion he has become in mid/late summer of 2006. He took the Sport Horse Nationals by storm and then went on to take Reserve World Champion Colt at the Salon after a tight battle with Taktikal OS (*Belize x Toshalesce GS). Andy is just stupendous! Always showing tons of promise and oozing quality, we knew it would only be a matter of time before everyone else saw what we had always seen. Andy is quickly moving up the ranks, already taking his second Legion and working hard for his third. And he just turned 2!! This colt is beautiful to look at from any angle. With that typey and exotic face, smooth ground covering gaits, and solid conformation. It is very hard to find a fault on this boy. He has stallion prospect screaming all over him!!! We know this colt is going to make history as both a show horse and sire.
Andy's sire is the beloved OS-bred, Eurocrat OS. The result of our two best breeding horses, Eurocrat has very much exceeded our expectations as both a show horse and sire. And he is only just beginning his careers. Eurocrat is a superb reining horse who is consistently placing in this class in the Arabian AHA circuit. The one time he was shown in Open competition, he did very well placing a very solid second place in a fairly large class. He has been an even better sire though. Along with Andy, he is also the sire of the ultra competitive gelding Thengel OS, International Champion Nenya OS, and the lovely Half Arabian Eurotrash Girl.
Andy's dam is just as decorated and competitive as Andy's sire. Acapulco was a pricey import from Poland. She wowed the crowds and judges all year long with the highlight coming at the 2006 Nationals where she easily brought home the roses for National Champion Junior Mare. Andy is currently Acapulco's only foal, but what a way to begin her breeding career!
